As a country, New Zealand ranked 30th in the index, just behind Ireland. The country’s weighted contribution to top journals in 2015 was up on the previous year’s – 13.6 per cent higher.

Otago was the top ranked New Zealand university based on the WFC, although the University of Auckland came first based on the number of articles published.

You can read more about the New Zealand results on the Science in Public website. The global results are available on the Nature website.
