Resources for journalism students

If you’re studying to become a print or broadcast journalist or are seeking to delve into new media, the area of science and technology is one worth considering specialising in.

There’s a science angle to many news stories and it doesn’t mean you have to be an expert in a scientific field to competently cover the round. Good training in the craft of journalism will give you the skills to tackle any sort of story and produce accurate results that a mainstream audience will be able to understand.

If you’re a journalism student or new graduate interested in covering science and technology call or email the Science Media Centre for advice or contacts.
