QANTAS – science, health environment, tech reporting rewarded

Reporters showing excellence in heath, science, environmental and technology journalism throughout 2007 were rewarded on Froday night at the Qantas Media Awards.

No awards were issued in the evironment and conservation and technology and science categories – suggesting the judges weren’t convinced that the awards were worth giving out based on the entries.

New Zealand Herald writer Chris Barton won the technology columnist and health feature award as well as the supreme award – the Wolfson fellowship to Wolfson College, Cambridge.
