Top scientists earn trust of New Zealanders

The release of the Reader’s Digest ‘most trusted’ survey has revealed that the top three most trusted New Zealanders are scientists. Sir Ray Avery, Sir Peter Gluckman and Sir Paul Callaghan topped the list of 100 well known Kiwis ranked by their trustworthiness.

Scientists top ‘most-trusted’ list

Three scientists are the top three most-trusted people in New Zealand, according to a survey out this morning.

The annual Reader’s Digest “Most Trusted People” survey has been released with scientist and inventor Sir Ray Avery topping the list.

The Prime Minister’s chief science advisor Sir Peter Gluckman is second and physicist Sir Paul Callaghan comes in at third.
