Checkpoint: Antiproton trapped

A report in Radio New Zealand’s Checkpoint programme discusses the news that, for the first time, an antiproton has been successfully trapped.

Antiprotons, also called antihydrogens, are the antimatter equivalent of the hydrogen atoms with which we’re all familiar.  The achievement will help scientists further understand antimatter.
